Full time opening in our McLeod Coastal Outpatient Clinic at Loris, where you can provide 60 minutes of one-on-one, quality therapy and work with a team of therapists who love to collaborate, have work-life balance, and participate in lunch-and-learns. You can opt to participate in a mentoring program and choose one of our specialists to mentor you, or become a mentor and share your skills with the team. Our clinics provide multi-disciplines of therapy including PT, OT, and SLP.
Our outpatient positions are located in our McLeod Loris Fitness Center which has so many amenities for our clinic including on site PT aquatic therapy, 20,000
sq ft shared gym equipment and space including a basketball court/racquetball court for our athletes, and colleagues with specialties including sports, pelvic therapy, Parkinsons, chronic pain, and vestibular to name a few.
Essential Functions
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Works with staff in development of professional skills, new programs, patient treatment plans as needed.
Treatments are performed as ordered in a safe, timely manner. Staff and family members are involved in the treatment when indicated.
Medical documentation is in accordance with APTA standards of care.
Attends and takes part in services, meetings, and educational sessions.
Assists in adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in caseload in the department.
Ensures an orderly, clean and safe work area.
Evaluates patients referred for P.T., utilizing specialized testing procedures and skills, incorporating data from the medical records and assessing the patient's strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, etc. and rehab potential.
Correlates data from the evaluation to determine individualized physical therapy plan of care as directed towards short and long term goals.
Supervises operation of specific treatment team. Meets with PTA on regular basis to discuss patient and set goals.
Performs evidenced based care. Seeks out research to support interventions
Respects, at all times, the confidentiality of patient's records and facility operations. Uses complete discretion when discussing patient matters
Adheres to all facility and corporate policies and procedures.
Will treat both inpatient and outpatients.
Work Schedule: 80 Hours biweekly. _Required to work one weekend per month._
_ Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education _
Current South Carolina license as a physical therapist; Current CPR certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited program

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
