Physician: A Facility in SC Requires a Locums Pediatric Hospitalist

A South Carolina-based facility is currently seeking a pediatric hospitalist to assist with temporary locum tenens coverage. The assignment requirements include circumcisions and attending deliveries. The covering physician must be board certified or board eligible and have current NRP certification. You will need to have an active SC state license for this position. The assignment schedule is 24-hour call, and you will see five patients per day on average. The facility uses eClinicalWorks and Soarian EMR. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
